• Rock 'N' Roll legends Bill Haley and the Comets at a hayseed town dance. He offers to be their manager and hopes to bring their fresh sound to the whole country, starting in New York City with a little help from Alan Freed. However, a Machiavellian and grudge-bearing booking agent intends to keep the band from ever becoming a success. Alan Freed, Bill Haley and The Comets, Ernie Freeman Combo with The Platters, Freddie Bell and his Bellboys, Tony Martinez. A talent scout discovers Haley's Comets, launches their career and turns the world onto rock and roll!
